This section is for the things that need to be covered so that all parties are clear on guidelines and expectations. Once a deposit has been paid to secure your spot on a trip, a copy of these guidelines will be forwarded to you and I will require a signed hard copy for my records.

By signing the document you are acknowledging your responsibilties as an independent traveler to a foreign country, and that you have been advised of any "need to know" information from me, the group organizer.

Its a release form / waiver to cover both parties, and will contain the following:

 

• Kristi Keller (the organizer) is not a travel agent nor is she affiliated with any travel agencies, airlines, tour guides or businesses in Jamaica or Canada.
• The organizer arranges the trips / tours through an independent tour operator in Jamaica, who is responsible and liable for their own conduct, insurance, and business matters while conducting tours.
• The organizer is released of responsibility for any unfortunate occurences that may arise as a result of airline/airport error. This includes untimely departures and arrivals, cancellations, mechanical deficiencies, etc.
• The traveler (you) who signs this release acknowledges that they are an "independent" traveler and are required to secure their own travel insurance. Having been advised of this, they will be required to provide proof of travel insurance upon departure with this group. The organizer has the right to refuse (without a refund) anyone who does not obtain insurance.
• It is the duty of the organizer to inform the traveler of appropriate behavior while abroad, and the risks associated with inappropriate behavior while in the foreign country. Having said that, any inappropriate behavior is done so at the risk of the traveler who will be responsible for their own actions.
• The traveler acknowledges that if any damages to property occur as a result of their actions, the organizer reserves the right to bill back any expenses to the traveler, WITHOUT QUESTION or hassle.
• Mother Nature controls the weather, river water levels, ocean turbulence, wind speed, and air temperature, so there is a risk involved in all activities and scheduling may be affected.
